Semen testing is technical and requires both precision and accuracy. A suboptimally performed
semen analysis may be inaccurate, misleading, or wrong, and could delay treatment.
Unlike other automated laboratory tests, semen testing relies completely on the expertise of the laboratory performing
it. Conception Laboratories is highly trained and specially certified in this area, and because they have the expertise
to perform all necessary testing, samples are NEVER sent to other laboratories.
Comfort, Convenience and Flexibility
Conception Labs understands how important it is that you feel as relaxed and comfortable as
possible. Our patients are given the choice to produce their semen sample either at home, or on-site in our comfortable
private collection areas. In either case, our staff will accept the specimen and quickly process it for immediate
evaluation. In addition, we offer flexible scheduling throughout the day, beginning at 7:00 AM.
Immediate Results
Your semen specimen is ALWAYS processed within one hour of collection. At Conception Labs, all
analyses are performed on-site immediately and are never sent elsewhere for evaluation. Results are available within
24 hours, and our dedicated staff is available to review these results with you or your referring physician.
Complete Range of Testing Services
After your initial semen analysis is performed, additional sperm and semen testing may be
warranted. Most laboratories do not possess the capability to follow-up initial basic testing with appropriate subsequent
evaluation. At Conception Labs, all semen testing, from the basic to the more advanced, can be performed, and repeat
collections can often be avoided.
